“Champions keep playing until they get it right.”
Billie Jean King
Have you ever heard of the 10,000 hour rule? It is from a book called Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. In the book he suggests that it takes about 10,000 hours of intentional, deliberate practice to achieve mastery in a skill. It doesn’t happen accidently or by happenstance. It requires setting specific goals, creating a plan, analyzing performance, adjusting, and continually pushing outside of your comfort zone…..
……for 10,000 hours.
This is how you master a skill.
This is how you become a champion.
It is not by doing what I do – allowing how I feel dictate what I do. It is making a plan & sticking to it, no matter what.
