About Me
My name is LaTonya
Hey friends, I’m LaTonya.
I’m a wife, and mom of four boys who is striving to thrive in the chaos of faith, family, and real life. My story isn’t shiny or perfect, but it’s honest, hopeful, and rooted in a deep belief that God meets us in our mess—not after we’ve cleaned it up.
I created Finding Motivation in the Messy because life rarely goes according to plan, and yet there is meaning, growth, and grace available in the middle of the noise. Through faith, practical wisdom, and a commitment to showing up even when it’s hard, I help women untangle overwhelm, reclaim joy, and build lives that feel more aligned and less exhausting.
I feel like I’ve done it all, or at least a lot of “it”. I’ve experienced homeschool, public school, private school, online school. I went back to work when my second kiddo was six weeks old; I was able to stay home with the third. I’ve worked in office and remote, been in ministry and worked secular jobs. I’ve struggled with infertility and been abundantly blessed with four kids. In all of it, I’ve learned that our identity is not in our roles but in who God is shaping us to become.
When I’m not working or chasing creativity with an ample supply of A.D.D., you’ll usually find me juggling feeding the four boys, creating, recreating and practicing schedules to keep the house clean and everyone where they need to be, or stealing a moment in the car to feel the sunlight on my face with music blasting.
I love deep conversations, vulnerable truth, personal growth, and reminding people that they were created on purpose and for purpose, that we each have intrinsic value and should embrace our uniqueness and learn to love ourselves and others well. My mission is simple: help people grow without pretending life is perfect. Whether through my podcast, my writing, or the community I’m building, I want you to feel seen, encouraged, and equipped to move forward—even if your life feels beautifully messy.
Welcome to the journey. I’m glad you’re here.
